Des Plaines Motel By Oyo O'Hare Airport Chicago

The room was exceptionally nice with central heating, a safe and television.

A lot of goodies for breakfast. Location next to the airport.

We got a room with a tub. We had a private bathroom.

Planned to see Des Plaines major attractions and it was relaxing base for visiting all of them. Location: the hotel was just off the airport. In the evening we went to Mcdonald's, located around 10-15 minutes walk from the property.

We got a double room at excellent prices;)))

The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing a late checkout and offering a microwave when we needed it. The room cleanliness was concerning, with inadequate lighting and missing towels, but it served its purpose as a budget option near downtown Chicago.

Not just terrible for solo travelers

The shower was pretty good, nice pressure and everything, not what I expected from a cheap motel. They let me check in early too, a nice touch when you're tired and just want to collapse.

It wasn't exactly cheap but acceptable.

Comfortable queen room, convenient amenities, with free Wi-Fi and early check-in on my second day. It was only 6 km from the nearest airport.

The shower was surprisingly nice, and I really appreciated being able to check in early on my second day. The hot tub and the cozy lounge area were perfect for unwinding after a long day. The floors could use some repairs, but overall, it was functional enough for my stay. 😊

You can't beat the local eats! Club Casa Cafe is just a hop away, serving up some good bites paired with a cozy vibe. The shower in my room was surprisingly decent too, a win!

Unfortunately, I stumbled upon some unsightly cockroaches and the hot tub was in rough shape. Even though the place felt dingy, I managed to hold onto the hope of better meals to wash away the experience.

Just a smart choice for a short weekend trip in Des Plaines with excellent value for money. The bed had a mirror leaning over it which was quirky and made me wonder about the room's history. Make sure to clarify your checkout time in advance.
